My Home · After Hours

The house I live in, rebuilt as a 3D world you can walk into.

My home at night: a warm-lit 3D model of the rooms I live in

My home, rebuilt as a three-dimensional model you can actually walk around: drag to rotate the house, scroll to zoom, and click a room — the living room, the study by the window, the two bedrooms, the dining room, the kitchen, even the bathroom and the balcony — to glide over and look in. A day-and-night switch turns the lights on after hours.

The house is modelled from scratch in Blender against the floor plan of the home I live in — every piece of furniture is a familiar corner, right down to the walnut bookcase and the four chairs around the dining table. The web experience is rebuilt on the open-source Ramen-Shop ↗ by Jesse Zhou, whose credit is kept inside the page.
